Design of Unsymmetric Beams is a two part presentation that deals with determining the maximum bending stress that occurs in a beam of general cross section subjected to bending about some axis through its centroid.  Part 1 develops the theory for calcuating the maximum bending stress and Part 2 presents the application of the theory to two specific examples.
